tin cans & tissue balls

Don't think these are the tissue ones but its the idea....

 I love this dessert table! I think it is so cute!!! I  want to put the tissue balls on a white lattice behind the candy table because it will be in the grass.

 Here's a can idea...

I bought white lanterns exactly like these but I can't tell if mine are the smaller or bigger ones here. I am also debating on whether I should paint them or not. 

Candy Table

Pedro's mom has offered to do a candy table! That is so nice of her! It makes me excited cause I think they can add to the reception and make it look really cute. Plus people like candy!!

My dress

I need to start looking for a dress ASAP! I was hoping to borrow one but I haven't had any luck so far in finding one that fits. I found these pictures and liked the dresses of the girls here.

cake table

I am thinking of having a very simple cake-and by keeping it simple I hope to not spend too much on it. The cake has never been a big deal for me.  I like this one. 

I like the idea of the letters in front of the cake like this one here. A cool way to decorate the table.

Reception Place

I am sad to say that the place was already reserved so we will probably just have it in the stake center by my house. We reserved it this morning after I got the email from the man saying the other church was reserved.

I'm kind of bummed about it but relieved in a way. Bummed because I feel like we'll be missing out on having something outside when the weather is awesome. Bummed because I don't think it will be as cute indoors.   Relieved in that I won't have to worry about rain and then setting up part of the reception the morning of the wedding because it is an open place. Now we can set up the night before and have it all ready and we won't have to worry about it.

Centerpieces/Table Set Up

I thought this area should have its own post since that is one of the things I'm most worried about. So here are some more centerpiece arrangements or table set up ideas. 

 I saw some jars/vases similar to the one you see above at hobby lobby.

 I put this one for the box because I saw a bunch of boxes baskets and wondered how one would set up the centerpiece with them.

Going green again with the plants cause we could keep these after the reception.

Here is a pretty and very simple set up. The skinny jars with a few flowers. 

This one looks like a canning jar which I'm sure we could get our hands on. :) 

Heres a lantern. I like that idea. I like the lemons because if we used them they would be free...well that is if they are in season in march. The small candles are also pretty cheap. :)
